La Plata, Argentina - December 01, 2024 The definition of the Turismo Carretera title was marred this Sunday by the injury suffered by Mariano Werner, the main candidate for the crown. Before the final at the Roberto Mouras Racetrack in La Plata, a few Chevrolet fans threw paper at the dynamic intake of his Ford Mustang and, due to the loss of performance, he had to enter the pits. He fell in the classification and his main rival, Julián Santero (Ford Mustang), achieved his first crown in the octogenarian category after being second behind the winner Diego Ciantini (Chevrolet Camaro).
