Footage shows hundreds of teenage drivers cruising at high speeds in a Las Vegas suburb - before speeding off when police arrived.

The video filmed at 10pm on November 30, shows "hundreds" gathered in Skye Canyon, Las Vegas, with cars speeding back and forth."

Footage shows cars speeding around the streets, doing donuts and people running around filming.

A passerby says the large group were there for 15 minutes before the police showed up and the crowd dispersed.

A Las Vegas resident described the behaviour as "lawless" and said he was surprised nobody got injured."

Jason, a Las Vegas resident, said: "There were around 100 people showing off their cards."

"There was lots of drinking, people were running around with their cameras out."

"I am surprised that nobody got hurt."

"They are loud and lawless - this sort of thing is happening every weekend."
