This is the heroic moment a brave passerby rescues passengers and driver from a partially submerged SUV after it plunged into a canal.
Footage shows the man pulling individuals to safety from the car in Beijing, China, on November 22.
Local media reports say the man, wearing no shirt, did not hesitate to jump into the ice-cold water to help the vehicle's occupants despite the day's highest temperature only reaching 4 degrees Celsius.
He rescued a woman and returned to the freezing water to save a man.
Another bystander jumped in to assist him.
The cause of the SUV's fall into the water remains unclear.
