This is the shocking moment a McDonald's customer brawls with staff after a furious row broke out over his food.

Security footage from inside the fast-food chain in Manaus, Amazonas state, Brazil, shows the burly diner and his partner complaining about the crushed packaging their meals came in on November 28.

Local media reports that the 52-year-old customer told them: 'Guess the burgers I ordered were too big and are inside the crumpled box.'

But instead of apologising, one of the staff members said: 'Are you going to eat the box?'

The video reveals the buyer furiously shoving a till computer off the serving counter, making it dangle from its cables.

He then begins brawling with the staff as he tries to storm out of the shop, and one of the servers pulls a knife from his jeans pocket as the footage ends.

Local media reports say police from the 1st Integrated Police District are investigating.
