This is the amusing moment when a pet dog uses a steamed bun as a football.

The brown canine was given a rock-hard bun to munch on, but instead of eating it, the dog decided to turn the food into a toy in Hebei, China, on October 2.

Footage shows a woman handing the dish to the pooch, which grabbed it with its mouth. The animal then threw it on the ground and hopped around the room, seemingly excited, treating the snack as if it were a ball.

Pet owner Ms Wang said: 'I steamed a batch of buns for the puppy, but they might not have been fermented properly, so they turned out quite hard. After I gave them to it, it didn't eat them. Instead, the puppy treated them like a ball, kicking them back and forth.'
