A kind scooter rider guided a disabled boy to cross the road safely.

The good Samaritan pulled over when he spotted the youngster struggling to walk, dragging himself with small steps, so he guided him to the other side in Manila, the Philippines on December 1.

Footage shows the motorist using his two-wheeler to block traffic and waving to other drivers to slow down.

The vehicles avoided them until the disabled boy was near the pavement before he rode on his way.

Onlooker Justine Garcia, who was in a bus stopped for the red light at a nearby intersection, said: 'He was so kind. We were touched upon seeing what he did.

'Most people would look the other way out of pity. I wish there were more people like him.

The youngster, who was holding a bunch of flower garlands which he sold to passing cars, made it to the other side unharmed.
