Farmers find beehive attached to durian fruit
This is the hilarious moment farmers found a beehive attached to a durian fruit.
The group of men was harvesting the fruits when they discovered a comb structure attached to one of the durians in Tak, Thailand, on June 19.
Footage shows one of the workers attempting to cut it down using a long stick. However, the hive broke apart, causing the bees to swarm out and chase them.
They can be seen running away from the insects, fearing they might get hurt.
The man filming was reportedly stung on the foot, but no one was seriously injured in the encounter.
Only female bees have stingers, and they attack to defend their colony when threatened.
The venom of these insects contains enzymes that destroy red blood cells and skin mast cells. It also contains histamines, which increase blood flow and cause swelling and redness. Bee stings usually heal on their own without complications.
