Free diver swims in bikini down to plane wreckage on seabed
A freediver in a bikini swam down to the seabed to explore a plane wreckage.
Footage shows Lorraine Anoran descending to the bottom where the six-seater aircraft was slowly being consumed by the ocean in Bohol, the Philippines on June 1.
Lorraine marvelled at the dive site known as Tambuli Aeroplane Wreck 65ft (20m) underwater, which was intentionally left to become an artificial reef.
The swimmer said: 'I started freediving only last year. I wanted a new skill and conquer my fear of the vast ocean.'
Planes may be intentionally sunk at sea to create artificial reefs that support marine life. These structures encourage coral growth by providing hard surfaces and creating habitats for fish and other sea creatures.
