Monkey snatches snack from girl's hand
This is the shocking moment a monkey snatched a snack from a girl's hand.
The mischievous primate charged at the toddler, grabbing her food at Qianling Mountain in Guizhou, China, on November 25.
Footage shows the animal reaching out to seize the snack from the child. After successfully taking it, the monkey quickly ate the treat while walking away, leaving the terrified girl in tears.
The child reportedly did not sustain any serious injuries from the encounter.
Monkeys, like other animals, may act aggressively when they feel threatened. Risks from monkey bites or scratches include serious infections, the herpes B virus, and rabies.
