US, Los Angeles: Norwalk House Fire Multiple Cats Rescued
Los Angeles, United States - December 03, 2024 12/03/2024 09:33 pm (GMT-0800) NORWALK, Calif. – A house fire in the 13300 block of Newmire Avenue prompted a response from the Los Angeles County Fire Department Tuesday night. The fire was reported at 9:33 p.m., with heavy smoke visible from the residence. Firefighters rescued multiple cats from the home and provided oxygen treatment to the animals on-site. A nearby neighbor indicated that the property housed several animals and had caught fire in the past. A KNN photojournalist observed medical personnel returning to their unit for more oxygen tanks.
