Passengers including a teenager are stabbed on a Birmingham Bus in the Sparkhill area of the city
Warwick Road, Birmingham, 4th December 2024. A Number 4 bus has been cordoned off in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham by West Midlands Police after a 17-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man have been stabbed on board. First aid could also be seen inside the bus stop shelter. The cordon runs from Colebrook Road through to the usually busy main Warwick Road.
WEST MIDS POLICE STATEMENT:
‘We’re investigating after a man and a teenager were stabbed on a bus in Birmingham this afternoon (4 Dec).
’We were called at 2.45pm to Colebrook Road in Sparkhill.
‘A man aged 32 and a 17-year-old boy were taken to hospital where they remain in a serious condition.
‘Our investigation is in its very early stages and we’re appealing for anyone who has not yet spoken to us to come forward.
‘The scene is being held on Warwick Road at the junction of Colebrook Road in Sparkhill remains closed.’
Anyone with any information about what happened has been asked to contact police.
