This is the impressive moment a painter wrote Chinese characters on the side of a cargo ship using a long pole.

The skilled artist painted the ship's name, 'Haijian 5,' with a paint roller and brush attached to the lengthy rod at a dock in Zhejiang, China, on October 21.

Timelapse footage shows the man intricately stroking the brush onto the blue and red watercraft's surface without making any errors.

The painter said: 'I have been doing this job for a very long time, and with practice, every project becomes easier to handle.'
