This is the amusing moment two wild monkeys invaded an airport in Singapore.

Two macaques were spotted by travellers and flight crew wandering around the Changi Airport on December 4.

Footage shows an airport employee attempting to shoo away the primates by guiding them toward the exit.

Passengers can be seen walking away from the monkeys, fearing that they might attack.

Local media reported that no one was harmed from the encounter.

Changi Airport said: 'The macaques spent a lovely time exploring our terminals and have since left after their eventful field trip.'

Monkeys, like other animals, attack when they feel threatened. Risks from monkey bites include serious wound infections, the herpes B virus, and rabies.
