According to an eyewitness, Mr. Gao, the colorful cloud appeared around 11 a.m. and resembled a dragon’s head and a phoenix’s tail. Its vibrant, dreamlike hues left onlookers in awe.
Meteorologists explained that the formation of rainbow clouds requires specific weather conditions and the refraction of light. When sunlight passes through ice crystals or water droplets in the clouds, it undergoes refraction, reflection, and scattering, creating the vivid, multicoloured display in the sky.
