US, Los Angeles: Pomona Car Rear Ends Parked Semi Truck On EB 60 Freeway Fatal
Los Angeles, United States - December 06, 2024 12/06/2024 10:30 pm (GMT-0800) POMONA, Calif. – CHP from the Baldwin Park station responded to a second traffic collision on the eastbound 60 freeway at Phillips Ranch Road in the city of Pomona. The passenger in the car that hit the semi lost his arm due to the impact of the crash. A second semi crashed into the vehicle. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by firefighters and paramedics. A second patient was also transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. CHP had only the carpool lane open on the eastbound 60 Freeway at Phillips Ranch Drive in the city of Pomona. "THE FIRST CRASH INVOLVING THE OVERTURNED SEMI IS GOING TO BE SEPARATE FROM THIS CRASH."
