Israel - December 06, 2024 Yesterday (Friday), in light of the events on the Syrian border, a General Staff exercise was completed in the northern Jordan Valley and southern Golan Heights. During the exercise, the Operations Directorate drilled rapid General Staff readiness forces deployment, by both air and land, assessing response time and execution reacting to an emerging incident in real-time. The exercise aimed to refine coordination between ground forces and air forces, enhancing rapid response capabilities to various scenarios during an emerging incident. The exercise involved soldiers from a range of training programs and squadrons, some of whom remained in the Golan Heights area to reinforce defensive missions along the Syrian border.
