Man dies after tree falls on car during strong Storm Darragh winds near Birmingham, England

A man has died after his car was hit by a falling tree during strong Storm Darragh winds on Sutton Road in the Erdington area of Birmingham on Saturday 7th December afternoon.
Firefighters including members of USAR and ISAR, Urban / International Search and Rescue, who are often sent to major disasters overseas were this evening cutting the tree away from the vehicle to recover the unidentified man.
Storm Darrag has caused havoc around the United Kingdom with windspeeds reaching 93mph and a major incident declared in Wales.
