A goat with an extremely deformed face had a penis-like lump dangling from its forehead, attracting curious residents in India.

The newborn goat had the phallic-shaped muscle with a small hole at the tip protruding above its eyes in Uttar Pradesh on December 1.

Footage shows the kid with the strange appearance hours after it was born. Its owner Sher Singh held it to show to bewildered neighbours, pulling up the tiny elongated mass to reveal the eyeballs squeezed in a single socket.

The calf's tongue hangs from the corner of its mouth, with two long ears drooping on the side of its head.

Farmer Sher said: 'It was a miracle. My goat is special, no other animal looks like it.'

The goat was born to a healthy mother, but Sher said they were shocked to find it had different physical features.

Its legs were weak, and it could only stand for a few minutes on its own. Sher added that he would give the special animal his full attention.

He said: 'It is a remarkable animal. I will take care of it and provide its needs.'

Last month, a Cyclops goat was born in Madhya Pradesh with two similar eyeballs squeezed into one socket. In another region in Bihar, a similar goat was born in 2022.

Cyclopia in goats, where two eyeballs are present but within a single orbital cavity, is an extreme form of congenital craniofacial malformation. This specific condition is still considered a variant of cyclopia because it involves a single eye socket.
