Hong Kong shipyard fire forces dozens of residents to be evacuated
Footage shows a fire at a shipyard in Hong Kong that forced dozens of residents to be evacuated from neighbouring homes.
The blaze started along Shum Wan Road in the Aberdeen district of the island but spread rapidly through fibreglass boats on Friday afternoon.
Firemen spent four hours bringing the inferno under control. Local media reported that residents were 'visibly shaken by the situation'.
Samuel Wu Wai-hung, the Fire Services Department's divisional officer for Hong Kong West, said that officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
