Adventure-seeking tourists chilled on hammocks 500ft above a roaring waterfall and lush green trees.

Footage shows the daredevils laying in the yellow swings tied to a zipline - that is worryingly moist from the mist and spray from the falls.

They can even hear the sound of the cascading water at the Tad Fane Waterfalls in Paksong, Laos, on August 31.

Tad Fane Waterfall is around 400ft (121m) in height. The zipline is another 100ft above the peak.

The waterfall is made up of two separate falls that plunge down the side of a cliff into a pool below, surrounded by lush green forest.

Communist Laos has no coastline, but it has a spectacular range of waterfalls and untouched hiking trails. However, many of the rivers are being targeted for hydroelectric power by neighbouring China, Japan and South Korea.
