STORYLINE:

Chongli in China's Zhangjiakou has a rather long snow season, which is a favorable natural condition for developing world-level ski resorts

During this year's ski season, Chongli, which hosted some events of the Beijing 2022 
Winter Olympics, has seen a winter sports boom.

"This year, we have launched a new service for guests from southern China.  We have opened direct bus shuttles linking Chongli and Wanlong with the two major traffic hubs of Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing Capital International Airport. Meanwhile, a most significant change is that we have opened night skiing sessions since the start of the ski season. The night sessions are available each day, during which up to 10 ski trails and 4 cable cars could be operated."

"Up to now, our sales have doubled compared with last year. The influx of visitors is significantly high. It's also the case with our store. We are extremely busy during the weekends."

"I've rented an apartment nearby. I'm planning to stay here for the entire ski season. There are plenty of amenities. It takes us only 10 minutes to go from the ski resort to a restaurant. There are many restaurants. I'm skiing with a lot of other ski enthusiasts."

"This year, the number of skiers has increased by 30 percent on weekends and 10 to 15 percent on weekdays. To be honest, this has far exceeded our expectations."
