From Thursday to Saturday last week, media representatives from over 20 media outlets across the Asia-Pacific region gathered in China's Harbin to explore the charm of the "Ice City."

SOUNDBITE 1 (English): MUHAMMAD LUQMAN HAKIM BIN MAHARI, Journalist from Malaysia
"I really like the Harbin Ice Harvesting Festival. This is a very, very new experience for me, as I come from a tropical country. I really love to see actually when they brought the ice from the river because I have never seen such a thing, to see that a river freezes like that. And they are actually harvesting it and celebrating it with the public. I really love that."
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): FAISAL EBRAHEEM, Journalist from Pakistan
"I'm here at the 2025 Asia Winter Games ice skating rink. It's a really good place. It has a good facility and we toured the facility. It's very efficient and good for the winter games that are going to be held in two months here in Harbin. We saw the training, which is also good. The team is doing really well, and they're practicing very hard and very good. So I'm looking forward to it."
SOUNDBITE 3 (English): NADIA JOVITA INJILIA RISO, Journalist from Indonesia
"To be honest, everything is really a great experience because Indonesia is a tropical country. We don't have snow. So yeah, this is a very interesting place. So I think it's really nice. I hope that many foreign tourists, especially those from tropical countries, from my country, Indonesia, can come here to experience this theme park."
SOUNDBITE 4 (Chinese): Foreign journalists
