Storm Darragh hits Peel castle on the west coast of the Isle of Man 7th December 2024. Spray from the force 11 winds hitting the camera
Storm Darragh sent severe storm force 11 winds across the Irish Sea from the North West on 7th December 2024. The west coast of the Isle of Man was particularly exposed, Peel being the main port on that coast. Filmed by Shane Stigant from Peel headland, overlooking St Patrick's Isle and Peel castle. The footage shows the waves breaking heavily behind the castle protecting Peel harbour, sending spray over Peel castle and obscuring the lens of the camera.
