Police intercepted cocaine worth half a billion dollars near the Canary Islands.

Authorities reportedly discovered more than 3,300 kilos of the drug aboard a fishing vessel located 1,000 miles west of the islands on November 29.

Footage shows 110 tightly packed bales of suspected narcotics, each weighing about 30 kilos.

The operation was conducted jointly by the National Police, the Tax Agency's Customs Surveillance Service, the DEA, Portugal's Judicial Police, and Brazil's Federal Police.

Officers arrested 10 crew members, including nine Venezuelans and one Colombian.

The suspects and the seized cocaine were transported to the Port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
