Mission Ant-possible! Insects hang upside down like Tom Cruise to carry food along rope
Two ants hung upside down while helping each other carry food along a rope - like Mission Impossible spies.
Footage shows the insects from the same colony clinging to each other, with one of them grabbing onto a string so they could bring home a large chunk in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 10.
The red snack, a pet food that had fallen from a dog bowl, was bigger than the two of them combined but managed to reach to the middle before they were spotted by a resident.
A woman who saw them in her backyard assisted them across the rope, helping them carry the food to the end of the line.
Tom Cruise is well-known for performing many of his stunts in the movie Mission: Impossible film series, including daring sequences involving ropes and heights.
Mission: Impossible is a popular action spy franchise that began as a television series in the 1960s and evolved into a blockbuster movie series.
Ants are incredibly strong and can carry objects up to 50 times their body weight due to their large muscles relative to their small size and their lightweight bodies.
