This is the amusing moment a lazy pet corgi had to be dragged across a shiny shopping mall floor.

The sluggish, adorable canine was spotted being pulled by its owner in Jiangsu, China, on September 1.

Footage shows the half-asleep pooch comfortably lying on the ground while the man tugs it with a leash attached to its body.

The animal can be seen with half-closed eyes and occasional ear twitches.

The pet owner said: 'He was lazy that day, but we needed to go to the mall. He didn't seem to care, and he wasn't hurt.'

There are various reasons why dogs may seem disinterested or tired during walks, including insufficient exercise, underlying health issues, poor diet, parasite infestations, medication side effects, adverse weather conditions, and boredom with repetitive walk routes.
