On December 7, in a rural village in Qingdao, Shandong, a small stray dog that had been sleeping outdoors was overjoyed when its owner bought it a new doghouse.

Ms. Zheng, the owner, explained that she usually works and lives away from home, while the dog stays in her rural hometown with her parents. During past winters, the dog had been sleeping in a pile of weeds, living in harsh conditions. Upon returning home, Ms. Zheng felt sorry for the dog after seeing it without proper shelter in the cold winter and decided to improve its living situation.

When the dog saw its new doghouse for the first time, it was ecstatic. Its tail wagged non-stop as it ran in and out of the doghouse, expressing its joy and gratitude with boundless energy.
