Pet dog overcomes his fear of horses by riding on their backs
This is the adorable moment a pet dog overcame his fear of horses by riding on their backs.
Aki, the one-year-old Shih Tzu mixed breed, was placed on the back of Inday, the 29-year-old pony, for a short ride in Misamis Occidental, the Philippines, on December 4.
Inday's owner, Titing, was collecting coconuts early in the morning when Aki saw them, prompting the canine to bark at the hoofed animal. The horse owner then decided to let the dog ride Inday.
Footage shows the behaved pooch calmly and quietly sitting on the back of the horse, who is carrying two net baskets on both sides.
Pet owner Karel Gilvero said: 'As a furmom, I was so surprised at how he managed to balance and stop barking and seemed to enjoy riding it.'
Dogs may bark when they are afraid or anxious, especially when they feel trapped or threatened.
