Firefighters struggle with high wind to contain Westminster blaze in California
Firefighters struggled to contain a blaze on Westminster Boulevard in California amid high winds.
Footage shows firefighters battling flames in a commercial building at around 5am on December 10.
The fire was hidden in void spaces, prompting a second alarm to ensure a rapid response and to prevent the high winds from spreading the blaze.
Crews extinguished the fire in the affected units, with no injuries reported.
The Westminster Police Department, Huntington Beach Fire Department, and Fountain Valley Fire Department supported the operation.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
