A little boy in Pathum Thani, near Bangkok, was rescued after he got his leg stuck in the spokes of his bike.

The filmer said: "This little boy was in terrible pain for over 10 minutes and his grand mother was desperately calling for help, but nobody in the park heard her due to all the screaming kids playing games and running around.

"Eventually a neighbour arrived with a screwdriver and tried to free the boy. However it wasn't strong enough. He needed to return to his house and get a more powerful tool. After a few tense moments which seemed like an eternity to the boy and everyone around him."

This was the scene at my local park this evening at Pathumthani, just outside Bangkok. This little boy was in terrible pain for over 10 minutes and his grand mother was desperately calling for help, but nobody in the park heard her due to all the screaming kids playing games and running around. I suggested that we cut the spokes of the wheel in oder to free him, this idea made the little boy cry as he thought his foot would also get cut. Luckily the hero with the power drill came along and saved the boy, without causing any damage to the boy or the bicycle.
