Attempt to Set Ajmer Petrol Pump on Fire Over 500 Rupees Payment Dispute, Incident Caught on CCTV"

An alarming incident occurred at a petrol pump in Lohagal, Ajmer district, Rajasthan on 11th December night where miscreants attempted to set the station on fire after a dispute over payment. The entire episode was captured on CCTV.
According to reports, the incident took place around 10 PM when three men arrived in an Indica car and refueled ₹500 worth of diesel. A verbal altercation broke out between the pump staff and the individuals. The men initially left the scene but returned shortly after with petrol in a bottle.
The CCTV footage shows two men pouring petrol at the pump and igniting it. Thankfully, the petrol pump staff acted swiftly, using fire extinguishers to control the flames, preventing a major disaster. Officials note that had the fire spread, it could have caused devastation within a 2-3 kilometer radius.
The matter has been reported to the local police, who are currently investigating the incident.
