A craftsman used a glass blower to create a miniature Christmas wreath.

An artisan crafted a stunning miniature glass décor using fire from a blowtorch and melted glass in Fujian, China, on November 20.

Footage shows the man swirling thin lines of soft glass onto a metal bar while torching it in place.

He then moulded it into a circle and fastened colourful glass beads, ribbons, small bells, and leaf ornaments onto the masterpiece.

Glassblowing originated in the Syro-Palestinian region in the 1st century B.C. It spread throughout the Roman Empire, becoming a highly prized skill. The technique was later adopted by glassblowers in the Western world and spread across southern Europe and beyond.
