A dad from Brookshire, Texas, was delighted when he realised he could hear properly after his daughter gifted him some hearing aids.

The filmer told Newsflare: "I got my dad some J Lab hearing aids because sadly insurance does not cover hearing aids for him. He hasn’t been able to hear for a couple years now and it’s slowly been getting worse.

"Usually when we’re having a conversation, he gives up in the middle of the conversation because he has to keep asking you 'what did you say?'

"And now he cannot stop having conversations because he can actually hear! It’s amazing the little things we take for granted. I’m glad there are more affordable ways for hearing aids now."
