Beachgoer, 53m, rescued from capsized jet ski in Florida
This is the dramatic moment a beachgoer was rescued from a capsized jet ski in Florida.
Joseph Baricklow, 53, was thrown from his jet ski in rough waters, prompting the U.S. Coast Guard and Martin County Sheriff's Office to conduct a search and rescue mission near the St Lucie Inlet on December 15.
Locals found an abandoned jet ski ashore, prompting concerned them to contact the police and emergency services (EMS).
Due to choppy waters, police were unable to retrieve the man, causing them to deploy Aviation Survival Technicians.
Footage shows one of the rescuers in gear hoisting Joseph into the aircraft.
They then transported him back to shore, where he was then sent to the hospital for a medical checkup.
Local media reported that he sustained minor injuries.
