Slippery climb on the Great Wall amid heavy snow in China
On February 20, 2024, in Yanqing, Beijing, northern China, a video captured tourists braving the winter elements while climbing the Great Wall. With snowflakes swirling in the air and layers of snow and ice covering the steps, the climb turned into a slippery challenge.
Visitors could be seen gripping the handrails tightly as they carefully ascended the icy slopes.
Any misstep risked a fall, adding to the adventure. The filmer humorously remarked that the experience was so intense it felt like being "sent to repair the Great Wall."
