SOUNDBITE (English): JORGE TOLEDO ALBINANA, EU ambassador to China
"I am impressed by this part of the city which is old. It has some kinds of Spanish-origin architecture. Quanzhou is a huge city, with (nearly) 9 million people. I'm very impressed. I went to (a) Kelme (factory). I'm very impressed by Kelme. It's now a global brand manufactured in China. I'm very proud because I'm Spanish. I'm very proud because I live in China and I love China. So it's a very good joint venture between Spain and China. My impression is that there are already hundreds of Quanzhou companies that have very good collaboration with European companies. So this is not new and this is something that is happening all the time because this is one of the most important centers in the world of textiles. So the cooperation with European companies is all over the place already."
