Police in Brazil discovered a half-naked clerk tied to a pole.

Employees of an energy company restrained a Civil Police staff member after he threatened them during a traffic dispute on km 45 of the Barreiras road in Itaituba, Para, on December 12.

Footage shows the furious worker fastened to a fence, wearing only his underwear while speaking with police officers.

Energy concessionaire Equatorial Para reported that the employee became aggressive after a truck belonging to a third-party service provider broke down.

The road was temporarily blocked after the incident. Reports indicated the clerk threatened the workers, warning he would get a gun if the issue were not resolved.

Authorities said the team decided to detain the public worker with the help of residents until the police arrived.

The Civil Police of Para confirmed that the clerk involved is on sick leave and has signed a Circumstantial Occurrence Report (TCO) for making threats.

In a statement, the police noted that the agent had pledged to appear in court when summoned.
