Artists from east China's Fujian Province staged a flash mob performance of hand-puppet theater play "Notre-Dame de Paris" in front of the newly reopened Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral on December 15.

On Tuesday, the Chinese artists staged six performances in France's Pernes-les-Fontaines, officially launching the Chinese Tour in France's Most Beautiful Villages.
The performances included hand-puppet theater play "Notre-Dame de Paris," dance "Tea Harvesting" and Dacheng theater play "Cymbal Offering."

The Chinese Tour in France's Most Beautiful Villages was part of the celebrations marking the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism.
The initiative brings a selection of traditional Chinese theater pieces to residents in Pernes-les-Fontaines, Lourmarin, Gordes, and Avignon, all renowned for their stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
The theater pieces have been passed down for hundreds of years and remain vibrant in villages across Fujian Province.
