STORYLINE:

China has steadily promoted the development of rural transport infrastructure over the past decade, facilitating rural revitalization.

Nestled among the Wumeng Mountains of China's Sichuan Province, Junlian County has witnessed an investment of 3.2 billion yuan (about 438 million U.S. dollars) in rural road construction.

Today, Junlian's rural road network stretches for 2,177 kilometers, with paved roads connecting all of the county's 157 villages in 12 towns.
