"We call on all actors who understand that Syria's stability ensures the stability of the region to contribute to this process. And we genuinely hope they will."

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati thanked Erdogan for Türkiye's support of Lebanon during its war with Israel in recent months.

Mikati condemned Israel for exploiting Syria's political upheaval, emphasizing that pressure should be exerted on Israel to stop expanding its occupation of Syrian lands.

Arriving in Türkiye on Wednesday as the head of a Lebanese delegation, Mikati came to discuss with Erdogan and Turkish officials their bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region.
