STORYLINE:
A mining tunnel boring machine rolled off the production line in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province on Wednesday.
The machine is bound for the southern African country of Zambia.
Jointly developed by China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (CRCHI) and China 15th Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd., the tunnel boring machine is about 130 meters long and approximately 800 tonnes in weight.
It will be used in Zambian mining tunnel construction and has an excavation diameter of 5.63 meters.
