This is the adorable moment a pet cat enjoyed a fish spa treatment for his paw.

A passerby noticed the ginger kitten drinking water from a fishpond with a school of small fish swimming around in Udon Thani, Thailand, on November 17.

After drinking from the water, the cat sat down next to the pond, observing the aquatic creatures.

Footage shows the paws of the furry creature in the water while the curious fish approach and start nibbling at it, as if giving the cat a spa day.

The seemingly zoned-out feline, staring at a stone statue, snapped out of its trance, lifted its paw upon seeing the fish beneath it, then shook off the water and stretched before settling back down to continue watching the fish.

The filmer said: 'It was so entertaining to watch the animals. He didn't hunt them and played with them, which is relieving.'
