This is the amusing moment a Shiba Inu dropped to its knees to ask for food.

Ms Yu teased her pet dog by crinkling the food bag, causing the pooch to approach her in Zhejiang, China, on December 9.

Footage shows the adorable canine stretching its knees to kneel down with its hind legs upon seeing the bag of treats, seemingly begging the woman to give it some.

Ms Yu said: 'I took out a bag of raisins and rubbed it, and the little Shiba Inu came over at the sound. He looked at me pitifully and then knelt down, begging for something to eat.'

Shiba Inus originated in Japan. They are highly intelligent, friendly, and quick learners.
