On December 17, in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, a cat got its head stuck in a cup while trying to drink water from the bottom and couldn’t pull it out. When the owner came home from work, she was both shocked and amused by the scene.

According to the owner, Ms. Sun, the cat is a female British Shorthair named Jinzi. Although there is a water bowl specifically prepared for her on the floor, Jinzi has always preferred sneaking drinks from her owner’s cup. Before leaving for work, Ms. Sun had deliberately emptied the water from her cup to prevent Jinzi from drinking it. However, Jinzi still tried to lick the little water left at the bottom, only to end up with her head stuck in the cup.

When Ms. Sun returned home, she saw the funny scene captured on video. Since then, Jinzi's drinking habits have changed. Now, instead of sticking her head into the water bowl, she uses her paw to dip into the water to drink. Thankfully, with her owner’s comforting, Jinzi seems to have overcome the "trauma" of getting her head stuck.
