STORYLINE:

SOUNDBITE (English): EHSAN DOOSTMOHAMMADI, Iranian lecturer, Southwest University, Chongqing
"I'm from Iran. I'm working in Southwest University, in College of History and Culture. We have an Iranian history center, I'm working there as a researcher. I already came to China, about 15 years. For me, the most important aspect is China's development. And the other one (is) what the Chinese government has done in the field of poverty alleviation.
I watched a documentary about China's high-speed railway. I found that in just less than a decade, they achieved very remarkable success. And nowadays the whole of the country, most of the people can enjoy the high-speed railway network. These achievements actually are very unique in our human history.
I will continue my research about Chinese medicine and Chinese culture and translating Chinese books and introducing Chinese medicine and culture to Iranian people. This is my plan for the next year and for the whole of my life actually.
In 2025,  I will continue my research in Chinese culture and medicine fields, I will continue to translate because in my opinion, translating is very important to other nations. For example for Iranian people, we need to know more and more about China because we have very good relationship between our two nations. So I will do my best to introduce Chinese culture and Chinese medicine as well. Actually, my expectations and hopes are not just for 2025. It's something about my goal in my life. So I will continue my research about Chinese medicine and Chinese culture and translating Chinese books to introduce Chinese culture to the Iranian people."
