Amsterdam is celebrating its 750th anniversary with an exhibition featuring 135 intricately crafted ice sculptures.
Using over 500 tons of ice and snow, a team of skilled sculptors and artists has brought to life pivotal moments, figures, and landmarks from the city's storied past.
Each piece tells a unique story of the Dutch capital's journey through time, which began in 1275 with the first written mention of Amsterdam. Since then, Amsterdam has transformed from a humble fishing village into a bustling, world-renowned metropolis.
The exhibition is held from Dec. 21, 2024, to March 2, 2025.
