Agents of the Rome Capital Police guard the intersection of Piazza Venezia and in the background the installation of the mural “The Constellations of Rome” by the artist Pietro Ruffo, on the silos of the construction site of the Metro C stop. This is the first installation of the Murales project, promoted by the consortium led by Webuild and Vianini Lavori, an initiative that aims to transform the heart of Rome into a place of culture with an international scope: the construction site of the metro C in Piazza Venezia becomes an open-air art gallery. The Murales Project will see the works of 6 artists rotate inside the construction site of Piazza Venezia until December 2026. Contemporary artist Pietro Ruffo captured attention with his installation "L’Immagine del Mondo" (The Image of the World) at the Sestante Domestico exhibition in the Venice Pavilion at the Giardini della Biennale (Biennale Gardens) during the 60th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
