Los Angeles, United States - December 21, 2024 12/21/2024 12:55 am (GMT-0800) PERRIS, Calif. – The Riverside County Fire Department received reports of an auto versus pedestrian collision with entrapment in the Winco parking lot at 3150 Case Rodd in the city of Perris. Units arrived at the scene to find two pedestrians struck with one trapped under the vehicle. Due to extended extrication and the severity of the patient's injuries, an EMS helicopter was started but was canceled en route due to an extended estimated time of arrival. Two people were transported to a local trauma center, one with moderate to major injuries and a third victim refused transport. According to the Riverside Sheriff's PIO Sgt.
