Christmas celebrations are lively in North Toraja, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, enlivened by dozens of Christmas trees of various shapes, at the Toraja Light Festival 2024, a number of residents enthusiastically welcome Christmas.

To enliven the Christmas celebrations in 2024, the Toraja Light Festival was held, which was centered in the yard of the Toraja church, Rantepao congregation, on December 23 2024.

Anugrah Yaya Rundupadang, the Toraja Light Festival committee, said that this is the moment for us as humans to become a light not only for ourselves but for all, regardless of ethnicity, race and religion, so that we can be a blessing and light to our fellow human beings.

Apart from that, in this Christmas moment which is celebrated by Christians in Toraja, dozens of Christmas trees standing festively are also given a value, making the atmosphere at the location even more exciting and welcomed happily by the residents with the accompaniment of Christmas songs.

The enthusiasm of young people from various religions assembled these Christmas trees as a means of bringing a message of peace to the world, so that dozens of unique Christmas trees could stand and be enjoyed by everyone.
