This is an unbelievable marketing stunt launched by a business in celebration of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

In the Lu Lake Water City Scenic Area of Chengdu, Sichuan, a giant Santa Claus sculpture has drawn significant attention from visitors. The sculpture depicts Santa in a squatting position, and shockingly, tourists eagerly gather to pull "excrement" from the spot representing Santa’s anus.

It turns out that the business has installed a popcorn machine inside the Santa figure, so what appears to be excrement is actually a treat—long stick-shaped popcorn.

Some visitors found the concept amusing, noting that the popcorn was fragrant, sweet, and delicious. However, others criticised the display as crude and inappropriate, deeming it distasteful.
